Choose an EPUB you may convert. The preview follows its publication reading order. Check the opening, the chapter boundaries and the end.
Make a listening copy
Exclude a contents page or chapter you do not need. Edit the extracted words, set pronunciation replacements and review the listening-time estimate.
Find the voice
Choose a supported voice and recorded pace. Audition up to 150 characters of your own text, review the quote and confirm your conversion.
Keep the story in order.
An EPUB carries a reading order as well as chapter files. VoiceMyFile follows that order when extracting readable text. The result can include front matter, a contents page or an appendix, so the preview is where you decide what belongs in your listening copy.
A publication’s internal reading units do not always match its visible chapter titles. Review each unit before continuing. Keep useful headings, correct a name or abbreviation, and exclude only the parts you want to skip. The original EPUB is kept separately from your edited narration draft.

- Use literal pronunciation replacements for names or abbreviations; they change the spoken draft, not the original book.

The main output is a downloadable MP3 containing your selected text. New conversions also attempt a ZIP of numbered MP3 tracks grouped by EPUB reading unit, with a timing manifest. The download page shows the tracks only when the export succeeded. Large exports over the export limit can leave the complete MP3 without a ZIP.
The website player can jump to measured track starts, remember your position on this device, skip forward or back and stop on a sleep timer. Save the audio before its signed download link expires after six days. The output is MP3, rather than an M4B file with embedded chapter markers.
Start with a book you may convert.
DRM-protected or encrypted reading content is not accepted. Use an unprotected EPUB of your own writing, an authorized edition or another work you have permission to process. The converter does not remove DRM.
Narration reads the extracted text. It does not describe illustrations, understand charts, assign character voices or certify a file for retail audiobook distribution. If a picture matters to the story, add a written explanation to the listening draft yourself.
A few things worth knowing.
How do I convert an EPUB to MP3?
Upload a DRM-free EPUB, review and edit its extracted chapters, choose a voice and confirm the quoted conversion. When the audio is ready, download the complete MP3. A numbered track ZIP is offered when its export succeeds.
Can I select only some chapters?
Yes. In the text preview, deselect the EPUB reading units you want to leave out. Review the resulting draft before submitting it. At least one readable section must remain.
Does this work with Kindle or DRM-protected books?
DRM-protected EPUBs and Kindle formats such as AZW or KFX are not accepted. VoiceMyFile does not remove protection. Start with a DRM-free EPUB you are authorized to convert.
Is the result an M4B audiobook?
No. The complete file and individual exported tracks are MP3. The track ZIP and measured navigation do not add embedded M4B chapter markers or retailer compliance.
How long will my ebook take to listen to?
The preview estimates a range from the words you keep. For a plan before uploading, use the audiobook-length calculator with the book’s word count and an assumed reading pace. The finished audio’s measured duration is more precise.
